January 1, 2020: The New Year Ekiden


January 1, 2020: The All-Japan Men's Corporate Team Ekiden Championship.

This is called “New Year Ekiken”, an annual men's ekiden (road running relay) over 100 kilometers which takes place in Japan's Gunma Prefecture on 1st January.

The race is a national championship contested between Japan's corporate running teams.

Although NTN team did not perform very well this year, I was impressed by the powerful running of those top runners.
